Into the Dreams Land Chapter 21

Nate Ning didn't want to take a taxi, so it took about half an hour to walk back to his home from D University. He also wanted to wake up, so he decided to walk home.

When they walked near Liam Liang's company, there was a car waiting for the red light not far away on the deserted street. Nate Ning felt that it looked familiar at first glance. After a closer look, he found that it was indeed the car that Liam Liang drove when he came to pick him up in the afternoon.

Nate Ning took a few steps back. He was afraid that Liam Liang would find him and arrest him for questioning all night, so he hid in an alley. He stuck his head out to see the traffic light turn green and Liam Liang's car sped away before he dared to come out again.

After Liam Liang drove away, Nate Ning was too lazy to walk anymore, so he stood on the roadside and hailed a taxi, asking the driver to drive to his home.

The taxi driver who took the order in the early morning was not very disciplined. He lowered the window after driving a short distance and lit a cigarette without saying a word. His window was not open wide enough and the car was instantly filled with the smell of smoke. The wind outside blew in, and bits of cigarette ash flew to the back seat. Nate Ning leaned to the other side and slowed down his breathing.
