In the emergency department of the D City Second Hospital, Zach Zhou sat on a small stool in panic, watching the doctor put gauze on Nate Ning.

The man with tattoos was quite fierce, but he had drunk too much and had lost his aim. He swung the bottle several times but missed anyone. Finally, panting heavily, he knocked the bottle against the wall, breaking the bottom of the bottle, and threw it at Nate Ning.

Nate Ning was unable to dodge and was hit hard on the back of his head, with a scratch behind his ear from the edge of the broken wine bottle.

FortuNate Ningly, a security guard at the bar noticed the man's strange demeanor and the bottle in his hand when he was leaving. He also saw him fighting in the alley from a distance, so he immediately called a group of colleagues to come over, dragged the man away, and called the police. Nate Ning fainted on the spot, and Zach Zhou was so scared that he called 120 while trembling.

A security guard supported Nate Ning, and soon his white shirt was stained with blood. Zach Zhou hung up the phone, looked back, and his legs went weak and he almost fell to the ground.

Nate Ning's phone fell aside. Zach Zhou picked it up for him tremblingly and found more than a dozen missed calls from Liam Liang on the screen.

Although they had never met, Zach Zhou knew that Nate Ning and Liam Liang had a very good relationship.

Nate Ning's parents co-founded a chain of fresh food supermarkets. They were often out of town to purchase goods and contact manufacturers. They were so busy that they were rarely seen. Nate Ning couldn't get used to living in the dormitory and stayed at Liam Liang's house more often than at his own home. Sometimes Zach Zhou heard Nate Ning talk about it and felt that Liam Liang was no different from Nate Ning's family.

It would be a bad idea to have no one to talk to at a time like this, so Zach Zhou called him back and stammered to tell Liam Liang what had just happened.

Liam Liang's voice was deep and steady, very soothing. Zach Zhou listened to Liam Liang's words and gradually calmed down.

After a while, Zach Zhou heard that Liam Liang seemed to have caught a taxi. Just as he told the driver the address of the bar, the sound of an ambulance siren came from a distance.

Zach Zhou told Liam Liang that the ambulance had arrived. Liam Liang agreed and asked Zach Zhou to accompany Nate Ning to the hospital first, and he would be there soon.

In the ambulance, the nurse used gauze to stop Nate Ning's bleeding. She pressed it several times and found that the wound was not big, but the blood kept flowing out and could not be stopped. The nurse changed a new piece of sterile gauze, pressed the wound again, and looked up and asked Zach Zhou seriously: "What's wrong with his blood coagulation function?"

Zach Zhou was stunned for a moment and asked, "What?" He and Nate Ning had known each other for three years, and he had never heard Nate Ning mention this.

"Not very good," a weak voice joined them. The nurse and Zach Zhou looked down at the same time. Nate Ning's eyes were half open with lifeless eyes, and his lips moved palely. "It's a hereditary coagulation disorder, but it's not serious. Just apply pressure for a while and it will stop."

The nurse looked at the gauze that was stained red again and nodded hesitantly. Nate Ning said, "In order to prevent me from fainting again, I will tell you in advance that I am type O blood, the same blood type as Einstein."

"I am also type O, O," Zach Zhou said, "von Neumann and Gauss were also type O."

"Got it," the nurse said, adding, "Stop talking."

When they arrived at the hospital, Nate Ning's bleeding condition improved slightly. The emergency doctor pressed on him for a while and learned that he had a coagulation disorder. He then asked Nate Ning to be hospitalized tonight and receive a bag of blood transfusion first.

Nate Ning hated being hospitalized, but still agreed despite being sick.

The doctor lowered his head to write him a prescription. Nate Ning was swaying weakly and almost fell off the chair. He held onto the corner of the table and looked up, only to see Liam Liang standing outside the door.

Liam Liang was still wearing the suit he had worn in the afternoon. Perhaps because he came in too much of a hurry, his tie was a little askew. His expression was no longer so gentle and amiable. All his disguises were removed. There was a coldness and murderous look between his brows. He pressed the door frame with an expressionless face, looking at Nate Ning.

Nate Ning's heart trembled, and he was stunned for a moment, then turned to ask Zach Zhou: "Did you tell him?"

Zach Zhou also looked at Liam Liang. He felt that Liam Liang's clothes looked familiar, but he didn't say much. He just said to Nate Ning: "Yes, I just returned the phone call and forgot to tell you."

Liam Liang walked in and nodded to Zach Zhou: "Thank you for accompanying him to the hospital."

After walking up to Nate Ning and seeing the gauze behind his ear and his pale face, Liam Liang paused noticeably, then leaned over and held Nate Ning's hand.

Nate Ning had just had the guts to hang up the phone with Liam Liang. Now she was afraid of being scolded and wanted to pull her hand back, but Liam Liang held it tightly and Nate Ning could not move at all. Liam Liang, who did not say a word, stared at her closely and she felt that Liam Liang was very scary today.

Although Liam Liang usually bullied and threatened Nate Ning, it was always a joke. This was the first time he had such a blank expression on his face.

Nate Ning was a little scared, and even forgot about Liam Liang's betrayal in the afternoon when he picked up Kyle Kong and opened the car door with his bag. He shrank his shoulders and reasoned with Liam Liang: "You can't scold me today. My injuries are very serious and I can't stand the stimulation. I have to be hospitalized tonight.

Seeing Liam Liang was indifferent, Nate Ning fell back and pretended to be faint, squinting his eyes and said weakly: "Doctor, I feel dizzy and nauseous. I have a concussion."

Liam Liang pulled him back: "Okay, stop talking."

"Oh." Nate Ning sat down obediently.

Liam Liang finally opened his eyes, but did not let go of Nate Ning. Instead, he stretched out his hand and clenched it, stood up straight, and politely asked the doctor: "Excuse me, why did Nate Ning need to be hospitalized?"

The doctor pushed up his glasses and said, "He needs a blood transfusion. He may have a mild concussion and needs to stay in the hospital for observation."

Liam Liang nodded and said, "Could you please issue a referral form? He can't sleep well in the general ward."

He gave the name of a private hospital and added, "I will contact the hospital now."

Nate Ning didn't dare to say a word, watching Liam Liang slowly call his assistant.

After a while, Liam Liang's assistant arrived. The emergency doctor received a call from the hospital director and wrote a referral form without delay, handing it to Liam Liang: "You can go now. He is not in a condition that requires an ambulance."

Liam Liang took the list, handed it to the assistant standing beside him, and said to Zach Zhou: "My secretary is downstairs, can I ask her to take you home?"

Zach Zhou nodded quickly and agreed. Liam Liang lowered his head again and asked Nate Ning: "Carry me on your back or hug me?"

Nate Ning didn't hear clearly, and looked up at Liam Liang, pulling the wound and frowning in pain.

Liam Liang seemed to choke along with his uncomfortable expression. He paused for a few seconds, half-knelt down, looked at Nate Ning straight in the eye, and asked Nate Ning again: "Do you want to carry me on your back or hug me?"

Nate Ning heard it clearly this time, thought about it, and said, "Memorize it."

Hearing this, Liam Liang turned his back and let Nate Ning hug his neck, and then carried Nate Ning steadily on his back. Nate Ning lay on Liam Liang, with her face against Liam Liang's shoulder. As Liam Liang walked, she gradually became drowsy and fell asleep slowly.

Zach Zhou followed behind, went downstairs, and saw a car parked not far away. He finally remembered that the person who came to the school to pick up Kyle Kong in the afternoon was Liam Liang.
