When Lady Ms. Mary was still at Golden Rose Manor, she was very kind to Max.

She was very strict with her servants and initially did not agree with Iger raising a black cat, but after actually raising the cat, she was quite good to the cat. Ms. Mary was half responsible for Pecks becoming so fat.

Because they hadn't seen each other for a long time, Max was a little excited when he saw Ms. Mary. He couldn't sleep and wanted to run over and rub Ms. Mary's legs.

Ever since Ms. Mary left Golden Rose Manor, the cat has been living a miserable life.

Then, it heard the words of its former owner, which should not be very scary but made the cat feel very scared.
