Parker had been in a daze these past few days, as if he had lost his soul, with his days and nights reversed and he slept very little.

Today, he got dressed and took his keys to go out. Seeing his listless appearance, Simon asked, "Where are you going?"

"My elder sister called me." Parker said, "I went to the master's...yard and said that the lawyer came to take care of some household affairs."

Simon asked, "Do you want me to go with you? I see you're not in good condition."
