When Ethan Cao woke up, Liam Liang was not sleeping next to him.
He propped himself up on the bed and took out his cell phone to check. It was 9:30 in the evening.
Jet lag is a painful process. Ethan Cao rubbed his temples and vaguely heard Liam Liang's voice from next door. He got up from the bed, opened the door, and was almost knocked over by the smell of cigarettes coming from the living room.
On the coffee table in front of the sofa, the ashtray was full of ashes and cigarette B*tts. This guy is really... I asked him how he quit smoking two days ago, but now he smokes so heavily.
The door of the next room was ajar, and Liam Liang's voice came over intermittently: "I'll consider the rest of the plan later. Delete the recording first."
