In the darkness, Liam Liang reached out and pulled off his two earphones, then sat up irritably.
The passionate singing downstairs had been going on for almost an hour, and there was no sign of it stopping. The soundproofing in the room was too poor, and even with headphones on, the sound could not stop. The sound did not even seem to come from his ears, but more like it seeped in from all directions and then penetrated into the cracks in his bones, making it impossible to avoid it.
What time will this place close? You won't sing until dawn...
Unable to bear it any longer, he threw his headphones aside, changed his clothes, got out of bed, put on his shoes, opened the door and walked out.
As he passed the row of dark wooden doors, he couldn't help wondering again, are there people living there? If there are people living there, how do they tolerate the noise downstairs?
