Alex Chu sat on a chair opposite the desk, drinking tea slowly, listening to the director's chatter without interrupting him, just looking down at the tea leaves in the cup. The curls of Biluochun tea slowly unfurled in the tea.
This nearly fifty-year-old director had studied abroad in his early years and liked to show off his study abroad experience to others. In those days, being able to study abroad was very impressive. In order to show his overseas study status, the office brewed black tea every day. Western black tea has sugar in it, which is not good for the throat. Alex Chu never drinks it. Every time he comes, the secretary brews him a cup of Biluochun.
"Then let him watch while I record the show. I will go watch his show if I have time." Alex Chu put down his teacup and said to the director with a smile.
Director Zhang was recruited from a local satellite TV station. He had a sense of superiority in TV media and looked down on online media. Alex Chu found it acceptable for him to say this about the online things, but if he was asked to take care of Ethan Chen, it would be over the line.
This is not an entertainment company but a TV station. Alex Chu is not a middle or senior manager and has no obligation to teach the younger generation. Asking him to do this is nothing more than Director Zhang trying to do a favor for Director Chen.
