Oliver Yuan did say the wrong thing. Lucas Fang didn't give him a chance to finish his sentence and cut him off in time. Although he kept asking him what he would rather do and what he hadn't finished, he didn't really want to hear what he said. Every question was a reminder and a warning.
Every time he asked Oliver Yuan, he realized that he had made a mistake again and almost said the wrong thing. After that, he apologized, gave in, and asked for peace, all out of his heart.
But although Lucas Fang was usually gentle and didn't seem to have a temper, Oliver Yuan couldn't stand him when he got serious. Lucas Fang's face turned cold because of Oliver Yuan's unfinished sentence, and he was no longer as gentle as before, and even didn't talk to him much.
The last two sentences Lucas Fang said to Oliver Yuan that day were: "Is it always so easy to say these words to you? It's been two years since the divorce, and you still haven't learned how to cherish each other."
Every word was like a needle piercing into the heart of Oliver Yuan, leaving a bleeding hole.
