In the days after Commander Han woke up, Kieran Han visited the hospital every day. Many people said that the old man of the Han family had given birth to a good son.
Kieran Han would never get such a reputation among ordinary people. His old father suffered such a serious injury. As a son, he still has to wait at his bed 24 hours a day? That can't even be called filial piety, that is the obligation of children!
But in that kind of family, Kieran Han's behavior is rare. Just like he has never had a bite of rice cooked by the commander's wife since he was born, Commander Han does not care about his son as much as Kieran Han's personal bodyguard when he was a child. Kieran Han lived at home before joining the army at the age of eighteen. There was an occasional conversation between father and son. Kieran Han never called him dad, but usually called him the old chief. Later, when I grew up, I stopped calling him "Old Chief" and called us "Old Man" instead.
During the time that Commander Han was hospitalized, there were guards, nannies, doctors, personal nurses, miscellaneous caretakers... all of them together could fill up an ICU. Whether Kieran Han went or didn't go would not have much impact. Even if he only called and asked about the situation every day, others would not think it was abnormal.
But not only did he go there every day, but sometimes he even wiped Commander Han's face and hands in person. Those two hours of labor moved the commander's wife to the point of being moved.
