A group of tools outside were running around in the corridor. After making a circle and seeing no one, they dispersed in a swarm.

Nathan Liang leaned against the door, watching with interest as Adrian Ming rubbed the black ink on his face with the back of his hand. The skin around him turned red. Not only did it not come off, but the black spot spread out, becoming larger than the original area and forming a small clumping mass.

"If you rub it any more, the skin will break."

"If you keep company with bad people, you will become bad." Nathan Liang said, "If you are already bad, don't bother covering it up."
