Adrian Ming stared at those words and was silent for a long time. He suddenly squatted down, as if he had relieved his strength, and buried his face in his palms, but he could not suppress the raised corners of his mouth.
He stood up suddenly, ran into the guest bedroom, and rummaged through the cabinets for something.
After moving in, he only slept in this room for a few nights before moving into Nathan Liang's master bedroom. He moved his clothes over there, but also some miscellaneous belongings, which remained untouched.
Small items such as ties, pens, and belts were all there, but he couldn't find the small book --- after putting it away, he never opened it again, but he wouldn't lose it.
Adrian Ming's forehead was sweating with anxiety. The phone in his hand vibrated. He paused and answered Nathan Liang's call.
