Several people in ID started to have different jobs, and Jake was the only one who seemed to be very idle, especially since Alex had to go to class every day, and it was even more boring for him to stay alone.
After being kicked out of the classroom by the teacher last time, he was too embarrassed to follow Alex to attend classes again. Alex hadn't bought a car yet, so he picked her up and dropped her off every day. He would play mobile games in the parking lot for more than two hours, and then wait for Alex to finish class and go home together.
The pick-up lasted for more than a week.
That day, it was almost time for him to finish playing mobile games, but Alex hadn't come down yet. He called her but no one answered, so he went upstairs to check.
The classmates who took classes with Alex had not left yet and were chatting in the classroom. Jake looked inside and found that Alex was not there.
