With the new pair of shoes, Jake was more anxious to show off than Alex. He insisted on going shopping together, saying that he had to go out and show off after wearing the new shoes. He forcibly dragged Alex out with him. They were not so famous that they could go in and out of public places casually without fear of being recognized.
Going to the mall to buy clothes, he tried on a blue T-shirt and asked Alex: "Does it look good?"
Alex said: "It looks good."
He called the salesperson: "I want two of these."
Alex said to him: "Why do you want two of the same? Are you wasting money?"
