After noon, Teacher Li let them go to lunch and gave them a temporary meal card for the staff cafeteria.

Jake's legs were shaking so much that he could hardly walk. He leaned half of his body on Alex, and kept saying "ouch, ouch" as he walked, his thigh hurt. Alex had no choice but to support him.

The two of them slowly moved to the restaurant. It was already 12:40 and there were many empty seats in the restaurant. There were always new people coming and going in the entertainment company, so everyone was used to seeing unfamiliar faces.

Alex helped Jake find an empty seat nearby. Jake sat down with difficulty. Alex said, "I'll go get some food first. Do you have any dietary restrictions?"

Jake pounded his legs and said sullenly, "No, anything is fine. Give me more rice. I'm hungry."

Alex quickly bought two meals and came back. Jake hadn't eaten breakfast and was really hungry. He picked up his chopsticks like a whirlwind and finished all the food on his plate in less than ten minutes. He even ate up all the onion shreds in the garlic fish.

Alex said with a smile: "Are you too hungry, or are you really not picky about food?"

Jake held his stomach and burped, saying, "What are you not picky about? There are many things I don't like to eat, such as onions, coriander, celery, Chinese toon, spinach, Chinese chrysanthemum, tomatoes, carrots, white radish, green peppers, red peppers, colored peppers, onions, ginger, garlic, etc. ...

Alex was amused. This was just a running line, the only thing missing was a quick clapperboard.

Jake said with a droopy face: "When I was a kid, I picked out the food I didn't like and threw it away. My dad saw it and hung me up and beat me. After that, I never dared to do it again."

Alex: ...

Jake said aggrievedly: "I would rather he beat me a hundred times than be stretched by Teacher Li again. It hurts much more than being beaten."

Alex now looks at him like a poor kid who has just started to learn dance, and consoles him by saying, "It's like this at the beginning, but once your body gets used to it and your ligaments open up, it won't hurt anymore."

Jake couldn't listen and said, "Don't stand and talk without feeling any pain in your waist. You are a child, right? Children's bodies are so soft. How can you know how much pain I am in?"

Alex said: "I only started learning dance when I was twelve, and I'm not that flexible. At the beginning, I had to do more than ten sets of h!p presses every day."

Jake's legs trembled: "Doesn't it hurt?"

Alex said: "If you want to learn something, you can't be afraid of pain."

Jake said: "I don't want to learn."

Alex asked curiously: "Then why did you join an idol group?" And you got in through the back door.

Jake regretted it a long time ago. He wanted to cry again when he mentioned this. He said, "How could I know that being in an idol group was so hard? I thought it was just about looking at the face!"

Alex: ...

In the afternoon, the two of them went to the twelfth floor for vocal lessons.

The teacher who met them for the first time asked them to sing a few lines of their best songs. Alex sang a few lines of "Red Bean" with a serious attitude. Jake sang a line after he finished singing, and then forgot the lyrics, "Nothing will make didi didi, but I, sometimes, didi didi...what was it?"

Teacher: "...Okay, okay, the pitch is OK."

Both of them had studied vocal music to varying degrees before, and were no strangers to breathing exercises and opening their chests.

Maybe it was because the dance class in the morning was too intense that Jake became so obedient that he managed to finish the two-hour boring vocal class peacefully.

After class, we went back to Ryan's place to gather. The other four members had already arrived.

Ryan asked about today's class and asked Jake "how is your dancing practice going?" Jake turned his face away and did not answer.

He looked at Alex who was sitting next to Jake.

Alex said: "Teacher Li said he performed very well."

Ryan nodded and said, "Jake and Eric have weaker dance skills, and Sam needs to work on his pitch. You all have your shortcomings, otherwise there would be no need for training."

He encouraged them again and finally said, "That's all for today. Everyone is tired. Go back and have a rest. Bring your luggage with you tomorrow. We will arrange for you to stay in the dormitory after the event."

Jake raised his hand and said sternly, "I won't stay."

Ryan said, "You guys go back first and arrive on time at nine o'clock tomorrow morning. Jake stays."

After everyone left, he said to Jake with a smile: "Are you too tired from stretching while dancing? I heard from the dance teacher that you were in so much pain that you cried for your mother."

Jake said unhappily, "Brother Kun, you didn't tell me that there would be this crappy training camp!"

Ryan said: "It's all written in the contract, didn't you read it?"

Jake felt that he had been cheated. It was Ben who looked at the contract for him. Ben must have known the truth but he didn't tell him. He drove him out in the morning and lied to him that he would be back after signing the contract.

He was angry but helpless. He was the one who said he wanted to be a singer. Ben scolded him while using his connections to get him signed to Huixing Entertainment. He also found the gold medal agent Ryan to manage him. Although he beat and scolded him every day, he had actually prepared everything for him.

Now that the contract has been signed, if he quits, Ben will definitely beat him to death.

"Then I won't live in the dormitory either," Jake said disdainfully, "Who wants to live with a bunch of guys who they don't even know well? Anyway, my home is not too far away, so I'll go back home and live there."

Ryan advised him kindly: "You still have to live together during the training period. Today is the first day, so I let you go early. You won't be so free in the next month. You have to take three classes every day. You have to go out at 8 o'clock in the morning and arrive at 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening at the earliest. It will be much more convenient for you to live together. I can arrange a car to pick you up and no one will miss class."

Jake wasn't worried about missing classes at all and wasn't tempted at all.

Ryan thought for a moment and said, "Look, Kevin, Eric and the other two already have a very harmonious relationship. After living together, it will definitely get better and better."

Jake said: "Okay, so what?"

Ryan said: "Xiao Xie also lives with them. He sees them every day, so of course he will become closer to them gradually."

Jake: ...

Ryan said slowly: "Of course, I don't approve of forming small groups within the team. It's best for everyone to move forward together and develop together."

The next day, everyone arrived at the company, dragging suitcases, and Jake also brought a small carry-on suitcase.

The teammates all looked at him sideways. Didn’t you say you couldn’t hold it?

Jake pulled Alex and said, "The dormitory has three bedrooms and a living room. You have to live in the same room with me."

Alex: "...Oh."

In the instrumental music class, Jake felt no pressure and played a piece of Chopin. The teacher also praised him for his good playing. In the vocal music class, he practiced chest resonance for two hours with "oh-oh-ah-ah".

When it came to the dance class, Teacher Li still remembered what happened yesterday clearly, so he didn't want to practice and asked Alex to help Jake stretch his back. Jake burst into tears again, and his snot and tears were all over Alex.

After class in the evening, the company car took them to the dormitory, and Ryan accompanied them.

It is called a dormitory, but it is actually a three-bedroom apartment. There are two single beds in each of the three rooms of similar size. The kitchen appliances are new and the decoration is quite exquisite.

Ryan showed them around and said, "All electrical appliances are usable. Take good care of them. Whoever breaks them is responsible for repairing them. There are drinks and food in the refrigerator, but no alcohol. Let me tell you the rules. No drinking, no gambling, no fighting, and no bringing in outsiders, men or women."

The team members all nodded in agreement, except Jake, who sat on the sofa, lowering his head and playing with his mobile phone.

Ryan called him: "Jake, did you hear what I said?"

Jake said without even raising his head, "I heard you. I won't bring anyone back. The bed is so small."

Ryan turned around and said, "There's nothing else to say. You can choose your roommates."

Kevin and Sam lived in one room, and Eric and Max Yang lived in another.

Ryan left, and Jake dragged his small suitcase into a random room.

Eric and Max also went back to the room to pack their things. Sam said it was hot and insisted on taking a shower before packing.

Only Kevin and Alex were left in the living room, and they chatted for a few minutes.

The six people were almost the same age, the oldest was 22-year-old Alex, and the youngest was 20-year-old Sam. Sam was a sweet-talking southern kid with a slight accent, and he spoke in a babyish voice. From the first time he met them, he called everyone "brother", and the other three followed him and called Alex "brother".

Kevin asked, "Brother, have you ever taught dance lessons at Guomao before?"

Alex said, "I have been there."

Kevin smiled and said, "I just thought you looked familiar. I've taken two of your classes, but there were so many people, you might not remember me."

Alex had no impression and said, "What a coincidence. I only taught there for two months."

Kevin said: "Teacher Li said that I am flexible but not strong enough, and also said that you are the most talented student he has ever taught. When I have time, please guide me in my movements."

Alex said: "Okay, but Teacher Li is exaggerating."

Kevin smiled and said, "Thank you, brother."

At this time, Jake shouted in the room: "Alex! What are you talking about outside? Come in!"

Kevin rolled his eyes to the sky.

Alex smiled and said, "You should go and pack up as well."

He entered the room, and Jake stood inside with his hands on his h!ps, saying, "Close the door."

Alex closed the door.

Jake asked: "What did he tell you?"

Alex said: "Just a quick chat."

Jake said: "He just called you brother after chatting for a few minutes? Why doesn't he call me brother?"

Alex said: "He was also born in June of 1992, older than you."

Jake angrily asked, "Do you even know what month he was born? When did you two become so familiar with each other?"

Alex: "...It's in the information."

Jake was very angry and cursed: "This worthless little b!tch, not only did she bully Dad, but she also wanted to hook up with Dad. She doesn't look good, but she has beautiful dreams."

Alex said in a messy voice: "When did I become yours?"

Jake glared: "If I say you are, you are it, how dare you say you are not?"

Alex: ...

Why does this person act like a little kid?
