The Wang family's Spring Festival was not quite what Jake had imagined.
He used to like the Chinese New Year very much. The whole family would get together, make dumplings, play mahjong and chat. Every year it was lively and happy. Moreover, when his parents came, he would rarely cause trouble and naturally would not get beaten. There were finally a few days in the year when he could feel that he was the spoiled little son.
This year is completely different.
He was in a relationship and they were very much in love. When Alex left, he felt very worried and was not very happy to begin with.
After playing mahjong for a few days, on the afternoon of the fourth day of the New Year, Tom worked overtime, Ben went to the airport to pick up his wife who was coming back from her parents' home, so there was not enough space for a table. His parents went out for a walk and bought some groceries to prepare a big dinner in the evening, and Jake slept upstairs.
