It gets dark gradually earlier. When we got home at half past six, thousands of houses were already lit with lights.

Elden Qi looked up and saw that the kitchen light of Ethan Luo's house on the third floor was also on. The orange-red light reflects the foggy glass windows. Probably because Ethan Luo was steaming crabs.

Elden Qi climbed up to the third floor excitedly, and Ethan Luo just opened the door. The warm and homely heat came out, and he smiled and said, "I saw you just when I was cooking." Elden Qi went into the house and collapsed on the sofa: "Ahhh, I'm so tired, I want crabs!"

Ethan Luo brought out a bowl. Elden Qi looked over curiously: "What is this?"

Ethan Luo returned to the kitchen: "A bowl of rice soup. Drink it while it's hot first to cushion your stomach. Crabs are cold in nature and eating them on an empty stomach will hurt your stomach."

Elden Qi washed his hands and drank the rice soup one spoonful at a time. The thick and sweet hot rice soup dispelled the coldness on his outside. He put down the bowl and shuddered. Suddenly, he felt that all the pores in his body were opened and he felt extremely comfortable.

Elden Qi rushed to the kitchen, where Ethan Luo was turning down the heat. The kitchen is filled with the fishy aroma of crabs. Ethan Luo straightened up: "Did you bring wine?"

Elden Qi ran to the living room and came back with a bottle of wine in his hand: "Take it, take it, Shaoxing rice wine!"

Ethan Luo smiled and said: "That's great. Open the wine and bring it over."

Elden Qi was very excited: "Do you want to drink tonight? Crab is a good dish to go with wine."

Ethan Luo said softly: "You can drink it if you want. Rice wine is a very mild sweet wine. But I mainly use it for seasoning. Come on, bring it over." He took two small plates and put them in the living room. on the dining table. The plate contained vinegar, minced garlic, and probably some minced ginger. Then he poured a little mulled wine into each saucer. The aroma of wine is mixed with the aroma of crab, and it smells strangely good.

"This is my secret dipping sauce. It is specially made for eating crabs. The recipe is not shared with others." Ethan Luo put down the wine and took out a three-layered basket from the kitchen. There is a plate on each cage, and on it is a big red crab about the same size as the plate.

Elden Qi was excited. These days, it’s not easy to get authentic hairy crabs. Most of them are hard-ripened. The crab shells are more fragile than chicken egg shells, and they are empty without meat. Or, feed contraceptive pills to crabs to create the illusion that they are full of crabs.

"There are three more big crabs like this. Eat these three first and then steam them. Eating the crabs cold will hurt your stomach." Ethan Luo sat down opposite Elden Qi and placed a large white plate between them. Elden Qi couldn't wait to get the crab, but was so burned that he pinched his earlobe. Luo Jing and Huang shook the crab claws they used to open crabs in their hands, "Why are you so anxious? This crab's shell is very hard, and the teeth alone can't do it."

Ethan Luo's hands are beautiful. The fingers are long and strong. Many people say that such people have dexterous hands, which actually makes sense. Elden Qi tore apart a crab himself, but didn't get much meat out of it. Ethan Luo sighed: "You are really a waste. Come and let me tear it down."

Luo Jing and Xia Crab are excellent at dismantling crabs. He can almost peel the meat out of a whole crab leg. The peeled crab meat was placed on the big plate between them. Elden Qi was only responsible for picking up the crab meat, dipping it in the seasoning, and eating it. Elden Qi ate almost four of the six big crabs, but Ethan Luo didn't eat much. Elden Qi saw him carefully peeling the crab flesh and suddenly felt very embarrassed. Ethan Luo smiled and said, "Why are you so polite? Slow down, don't get burned."

Elden Qi drank some rice wine. The heat went straight to my forehead. The man sitting opposite looked at him with a gentle smile. When he spoke, his voice was low, slightly nasal, and gorgeous.

...I'm not dreaming. hehe.

After the meal, Ethan Luo took away the crab shells, cleaned the table, opened the window for ventilation, washed his hands, took a piece of ginger and applied it carefully on his hands to remove the fishy smell. Elden Qi sat down on the sofa after eating and drinking, his eyes squinting comfortably.

"Like a cat." Ethan Luo said.

So Elden Qi meowed for real, leaving Ethan Luo dumbfounded.

After a while, Elden Qi opened his eyes. Ethan Luo's home, like his people, is clean, warm, simple and unassuming. There is a warm flavor that makes people greedy and want to take it for themselves.

"Qinghe."

Ethan Luo was stunned for a moment. Elden Qi looked at him and called persistently: "Qinghe."

Ethan Luo reacted: "Huh?"

Elden Qi smiled slightly: "Why are you so stunned?"

Ethan Luo said: "This is the first time you call me that."

Elden Qi put the back of his hand on his eyes and raised the corners of his mouth: "Qingheqingheqingheqingheqingheqinghe..."

Noah Li's frowning expression seemed to appear in front of him.

Sorry.

Ethan Luo sat down next to him: "Alas, alas, alas, alas, alas."

Elden Qi turned over and buried his face on the back of the sofa. Ethan Luo noticed that his body was shaking slightly, so he did not disturb him. There was no TV at home, and the two fell into silence. Ethan Luo looked at Elden Qi, suddenly stretched out his hand and purred his hair.

"alright."

"Um."

The autumn night was quite cold, and the wind picked up. Elden Qi could hear the sound of the wind blowing against the glass window. There are more lights on in the entire community, more and more orange-red and white lights. That signals someone's presence. Cooking, watching TV, doing homework, chatting and playing cards. Elden Qi didn't like to turn on the lights when he was alone. He squatted alone in the darkness and looked at the lights outside the window. This is simply self-deprecating. There is really no evidence that he is still alive.

"Qinghe?"

"Um?"

"are u there?"

"here I am."

"Have you always been there?"

"always there."

"Aren't you leaving?"

"Not leaving."

The man's calm and peaceful aura was all around.

...very nice.

Later, Elden Qi fell asleep in a daze. She felt as if someone had touched her, so she took off her clothes and shoes and covered herself with a quilt. Not in your own home. But still safe.

The next day, the sound of Luo Jing and Qi Chang making breakfast woke Elden Qi up. He got up and found himself in Ethan Luo's bedroom. He ran out the door in a panic and saw Ethan Luo busy in the kitchen.

"Ah, you're awake? Do you have a headache?"

Elden Qi was very sorry: "I didn't drink much yesterday, but I was drunk, and I bothered you all night... I'm really sorry."

Ethan Luo smiled: "People are most likely to get drunk when they are very happy or very sad. Which one were you last night?"

"Of course... I'm very happy... I didn't cause you any trouble yesterday, right? For example, I said something annoying..."

"No." Ethan Luo brought out two bowls of cornmeal and a basket of steamed buns: "I personally prefer Chinese breakfast. I eat it this way if I'm not too busy. I didn't ask you whether you prefer Chinese breakfast or Western breakfast yesterday."

Elden Qi smiled sharply: "I said before that it's good to eat some, right?"

Ethan Luo looked at him.

"That's really not a polite thing to say. Growing up, basically... no relatives cooked for me. If it was good, there would be a part-time worker. If it was bad, I would just make it on my own and just use cartons of milk for breakfast. I cook my own meals, such as making apple soup and so on..."

Ethan Luo laughed out loud: "You are so creative."

Elden Qi scratched his head: "Yeah, I finally had gastrointestinal problems when I was in middle school, and I almost had my hair cut off. So... I'm really not particular about what I eat. I'm lucky to have someone to cook for me."

Ethan Luo cheered softly: "Then I won't ask again. Sorry."

Elden Qi was a little at a loss: "Well... I'll go upstairs to wash my face and brush my teeth first. You wait for me."

Luo Jing took off his apron and said, "Go quickly."

Breakfast was very good. I took Ethan Luo's car to school, got off the car and said goodbye to him, and then entered the gate. As expected, people are very energetic after eating a good breakfast, and it is rare for Elden Qi to be in high spirits in the morning.

The weather forecast says it will be sunny and cloudless today.
