Lucas Yin was sitting on the little stone lion at the entrance of the alley eating roasted sweet potatoes. He originally only wanted to buy one, but the old man selling the roasted sweet potatoes was closing his stall and going home, so he gave him the remaining two.
The steaming sweet potatoes were fragrant and sweet, and his whole body warmed up after taking two bites. He hoped that he could wait for Ethan Nie before finishing.
Lucas Yin came back early from training. Ethan Nie sent him papers every day and had dinner at his house. But they were having a cold war and eating at the same table was too torture, so he came out to wait, took the papers and went back to his house.
Waiting and waiting, it was pitch dark and Ethan Nie still hadn't replied. Lucas Yin got worried while grabbing another piece of roasted sweet potato. He took out his cell phone and called the other party, but no one answered the phone after ringing for a long time.
Three minutes later, he called again, and this time he finally answered. He nibbled on the last bit of sweet potato skin and asked, "Where have you been? Why haven't you come back yet? I'm waiting to get the paper."
