Shi Jin originally thought that when the Second Master passed through Xiangyang, he would leave in a hurry like he did in other towns.
However, the second master only asked Noah Shi to park the carriage outside a three-courtyard house that looked quiet and ancient, and then he went into the inner courtyard by himself.
Shi Jin trotted along to keep up. This courtyard, called Qi Mansion, was small but fully equipped.
Although there were few servants inside, when passing through the courtyard, one could still see servants busy sweeping the yard, each doing their own job.
Although Shi Jin did not have time to look around carefully, he saw many evergreen pines and cypresses in the courtyard. Because of their age, these pines and cypresses all had strange shapes. Even though it was October, they still had a deep dark green color.
