Shi Jin wanted to move away, but he hugged her and carried her into the house without touching the ground.
As soon as he entered the main hall, the second master saw that the meal had not been finished yet, and couldn't help but ask her, "Haven't you finished your meal yet?"
Shi Jin shook his head slightly, then lowered his head, clutching the buttons on his chest with both hands, refusing to look up.
The second master chuckled, took her to sit at the table, and poured a bowl of bird's nest, scooping some out to feed her.
Shi Jin's face was hot. She reached out for the jade spoon and said, "I'll do it myself."
