Shi Jin originally thought that the Second Master would punish her for what happened during the banquet. Unexpectedly, after he brought her back to the inn, he only asked the waiter to prepare all the good wines available in the inn.
The corners of the black lacquered wooden table were worn and the paint had fallen off, but on it were placed a bunch of round-bellied, narrow-mouthed porcelain vases of various colors. Each porcelain vase was only half the size of a palm, and looked very delicate and lovely.
The Second Master immediately took out a porcelain vase with a peach branch painted on it and sparse petals and placed it at the tip of Shi Jin's nose, letting her sniff it.
"How?" His eyes were clear, but his voice carried a subtle hint of coaxing.
After Shi Jin drank three glasses of strong liquor, his thoughts slowed down a bit. Even his pair of almond-shaped eyes, which were clearly black and white, looked straight at him with some innocence.
