It was deep winter outside the window, the wind was biting, and the branches were dotted with snowflakes, making the gray-white building of the hospital even more bleak and cold. Mia Lin sat in the ward, looking at the windowsill boredly, with a plate of cut fruits beside him.
There were footsteps outside the door, the doctor walked into the room, and Dylan Lu followed behind.
Mia Lin sat on the bed obediently, letting the doctor check for signs of head trauma. Although the doctor had confirmed that she was not seriously injured, Dylan Lu still insisted on giving her a detailed examination.
After a while, the doctor put away the equipment in his hand, turned to Dylan Lu and said: "The current condition is stable. You need to rest for two days, and then you can be discharged from the hospital."
Dylan Lu agreed to the doctor's request. After the doctor left, he leaned over to get close to Mia Lin and asked softly, "Can I take you home this afternoon?"
