When he got home that night, Ethan Yin swallowed a few more pills.
Lydia Lin had already gone to bed. When she heard the noise, she came out to see what was happening. She was shocked by Ethan Yin's attitude of taking medicine as if it were a meal, and asked, "Is this medicine not working?"
Ethan Yin wiped the water stains from the corners of his mouth with the back of his hand and said, "No, my pheromones are fluctuating. I took some medicine to suppress it."
Lydia Lin couldn't understand: "Aren't you a Beta school? How could it cause pheromone fluctuations? Should we go to the hospital to change to another medicine, or switch to an injection?"
Ethan Yin himself was also a novice, and had no answer to Beta's mother's questions.
