Jaxton’s words came to Lacey’s heart.
She couldn’t wait to tell him: “In January next year, I will give a report at an academic seminar, introducing the content and research direction of my first paper.”
Jaxton concealed his surprise and nodded in tacit agreement. He asked: “When will the seminar be held?”
Lacey said: “January 10, 2009, ten o’clock in the morning.”
January 10th, 2009, happened to be the day after Jaxton finished his final exam. He can rush back to the provincial capital on January 9th and go to the university city the next day to listen to Lacey’s first academic report.
