Lacey has her own selfishness. She wanted Jaxton to stay in the Provincial No. 1 Middle School. However, she should consider him from the perspective of a friend.
So she asked: “Jaxton, do you like math competitions?”
Jaxton said vaguely: “I haven’t participated in the competition for a long time.”
Lacey and Jaxton have known each other for three years. Even if Jaxton always talks round and round, Lacey can guess his true thoughts. She nodded: “I see, you mean, you don’t like math competitions.”
