He was so flustered that he didn't know what to say. With the silence on the other end of the phone, Alex reacted quickly and hung up the phone without hesitation.
He let out a loud "Ah" and crawled into the bed like an ostrich.
Luke heard the "beep" sound on the other end of the phone and didn't say anything, but just sent a message to remind him: "You've worked hard in studying, go to bed early, good night."
Alex thought back to last year, when a senior school girl pursued him and somehow got his phone number. She would send him weather forecasts every day, asking him to bring an umbrella when it rained and to keep warm when it was cold. Her tone was particularly intimate, but Alex had no idea who she was and felt confused, so he blocked her.
But when it comes to Ben, his occasional words of concern make Alex feel inexplicably warmed. It’s not that no one has cared about him like this before, but he just likes Luke.
