After turning on the desk lamp, Jarvin Wen spread out his textbooks and test papers and stood for a while. He felt weak and took a few steps back, then lay on his back on the bed. His limbs felt heavy and although he was not cold, he unconsciously hunched his back, with a faint mark on his spine under his clothes.
That night, Jarvin Wen finished his homework, opened the learning app on his phone, and started to practice physics questions. After finishing one question, he mechanically moved on to the next one, occasionally looking up at the other side.
It was not until the clock pointed to five o'clock that the light in the window opposite, which belonged to Adrian Chi, came on, and it was extremely conspicuous in the darkness before dawn.
Jarvin Wen could no longer read any word in the question and just stared at the light opposite in a daze.
Twenty minutes later, the lights went out, and Adrian Chi should have fallen asleep. Jarvin Wen drew his attention back and continued to do the questions.
