Anna Lu was stunned for a moment, then she realized that this person was not coming to pick her up from school.
The sun was shining brightly. The man opened the car door and got out. He walked a few steps towards her, lowered his head slightly, met her gaze, and said with ease,
"I'll buy you ice cream after school? Or something else? What do you like to eat?"
