Jade tried her best to talk Chen Kejun and even threatened to call the police, but she still couldn't reach a consensus. This man seemed determined to fight her to the end. After they parted unhappily, she didn't dare to go back to the house she rented with Claire, for she was afraid that Chen Kejun would take this opportunity to target Claire.

When she arrived at the company, Claire's seat was empty. Jade sat at her desk, her eyes always unconsciously drifted to the sofa chair in front of the French window. She seemed to see Claire sitting there quietly, with her hair loosely tied into a small bun behind her head, each hair shining softly in the sun. Her slender fingers like green onions tapped on the keyboard, making a pleasant clicking sound.

In the past few days, she has been working accompanied by the sound of this light keyboard.

Suddenly I felt like something was missing in this huge office.

When she came back to her senses, her hand was already on the sofa chair where Claire was sitting in the office. Jade sighed deeply, and some unbearable sadness appeared on her beautiful face. She had hardly rested last night, and got up early in the morning to deal with Chen Kejun. Sitting on Claire's chair, the winter sun was not impatient, but gently hit her body. Unconsciously, Jade was swept by a wave of fatigue.
