As soon as Jade got out of the car, the cold wind blew in through her collar, making her shiver. Her groggy head suddenly became clear. She recalled her words and actions just now, and asked Claire with some concern: "I didn't lose my composure, did I say anything I shouldn't say or do anything I shouldn't do?"
Claire smiled and shook her head. The orange street lights in the community enveloped her in a warm hue, and her expression became even gentler. She reached out and took Jade's hand. The hand had been chilled by the cold wind, and it felt delicate and cold in her palm, just like holding a piece of jade. Claire licked her lips with the tip of her tongue and said, "Sister, it's so cold, let's go home quickly."
Jade's eyes were filled with a smile, like the shimmering autumn water that was shattered. "Okay, Assistant Tan."
Claire put Jade's hand in her pocket. When they walked through the corridor between the two buildings, the wind was blocked and could not blow through. Assistant Tan also slowed down a bit. Jade's hand had been warmed in her pocket. She turned her head to glance at Jade. He had long and thick eyelashes, cold and white skin, a straight nose, and a wisp of curly hair hanging down from his forehead, adding a touch of exotic charm to his already aggressive face.
Claire held Jade's hand tighter restlessly, his eyes narrowed slightly, as if he wanted to put Jade whole into his pocket.
