Claire thought of the man who had called Jade before. That sinister voice couldn't be wrong.
"She can't come downstairs, you go back." Claire said as calmly as possible. When she thought that the person on the receiver was Jade's boyfriend, she couldn't help but feel angry. She wanted to hang up the phone immediately, and even wanted this ungrateful man to disappear completely from Jade's world.
"Who are you?" After a pause, a voice came from the other end of the phone again. The man's tone was slightly raised, with a condescending questioning, which made people extremely annoyed. Claire wanted to hang up the phone directly, but Jade valued this person very much. She was afraid that her recklessness would bring trouble to Jade, so she patiently answered:
"I am Jade's friend."
"Humph." The man snorted contemptuously and said with great certainty: "Stop pretending, Jade, you never have any friends."
