Lily Mu looked at the waterwheel that had been turning smoothly and delivering water to the bamboo tube, wiped the sweat from her head, turned around and smiled at the villagers.
"Everyone. It lived up to your expectations and it worked."
Lily Mu's words seemed to break something. A group of villagers shouted happily, wiping tears with red eyes, and the children ran around the river.
They grew up in the fields at home and made their living there. They may not know anything else, but they know what water means to the fields.
