Dean Xu smiled and said, "Alex Ye, you created a mathematical algorithm. How about I help you apply for a computer award in the name of the School of Computer Science?"
Without waiting for Alex Ye to speak, Dean Xiao angrily asked, "What do you mean, in the name of the School of Computer Science, my School of Mathematics can't help Alex Ye apply for an award?"
Dean Xu said coldly: "Don't you know how difficult it is for your School of Mathematics to apply for the Computer Award?"
It is common knowledge in the academic community that applying for awards across fields is much more difficult than applying for awards in non-fields.
This is just like the postgraduate and doctoral entrance exams. It is much more difficult to take the exam in a different major than in a non-different major.
