Carter’s birthday surprise
Bella frowned lightly and put the glass on the table. “You don’t know that I can’t drink.”
Carter shook the liquid in the glass and smiled a little meaningfully, “This bottle is my treasure, the best, are you sure you don’t want to try it?”
After asking, he took a sip of his own.
Bella’s heart moved for a moment, but he remembered the aftereffects caused by drinking and shook his head firmly.
