Dong Qian lives in the "Lanwan" community.
This is a very new residential area. A few years ago, it was a damp and cramped alley. Later it became a beneficiary of vigorous urban renewal. Dong Qian's family also moved into a resettlement building with bright and clean windows.
The newly built communities in recent years are very particular about "floor heating", "central air conditioning" and "fresh air system". Terms that seemed quite foreign a few years ago have become standard features of residential buildings. The new generation of urban middle class has begun to purchase quality of life. It needs location, quietness, services and convenience. The old residents signed the relocation agreement in a daze, found a place on the edge of "quality life", and seemed to have joined the trend of "quality city"... Of course, you won't know until you move in. It turns out it just looks beautiful.
There is a thick isolation belt between the relocation housing and the commercial housing. The middle is sealed. On one side is a bare concrete floor and on the other side is an artificial landscape with flowers. This divides the buildings with similar appearances into three, six or nine grades.
When Reece and his colleagues came out of Dong Qian's house, they found that a circle of people had gathered around the place where they parked the police car.
