Inside the Western Shu Imperial Palace.
After reading a secret report from the Yun Kingdom, the King of Shu immediately summoned the Grand Tutor to the palace.
Now the court was controlled by the Grand Tutor, and all matters of the court had to go through the Grand Tutor. In order to facilitate the Grand Tutor in handling official business, the king even allowed the Grand Tutor to bring memorials back to the Grand Tutor's residence, and even meet with other ministers.
People were joking: "The Grand Tutor's Mansion has become the Imperial Palace, and the Imperial Palace has become the cold palace for the Emperor's son." Ministers all claimed to be sick and did not attend the morning court, but they could enter and leave the Grand Tutor's Mansion in high spirits. The Emperor's son did not dare to complain, otherwise he would be slapped by the Grand Tutor.
Many of the ministers that the previous emperor had trusted had either retired or died of various strange injuries and diseases. All the important positions nowadays were held by people promoted by the Grand Tutor.
