Just when Yang Yiyi, Boss Kunpeng, David Zhang and others led the Wanbang League and Mietianwu to attack Suzhou, Hangzhou City, hundreds of thousands of troops outside the city launched another attack on Hangzhou City.
This is the third time the rebels have attacked Hangzhou City in recent days.
Although the rebels suffered more than 10,000 casualties in the previous two battles, the casualties in Hangzhou were only more than 2,000; but after these two battles, there were still 110,000 rebels, while the guards in Hangzhou were less than 10,000.
Therefore, the rebels' idea was very simple and clear, which was to use their numerical advantage to gradually wear down the defenders in Hangzhou City.
Originally, the rebels planned to launch a strong attack every three or four days, but after learning that Suzhou City might be lost, the rebels had to speed up the attack on Hangzhou. Otherwise, once Suzhou City was lost, both their morale and vitality would be greatly damaged.
