Ethan Li learned about Adrian Fang's departure from City A the next afternoon. That day he went to work at Hyacinthus and met Wei Ping, who was on the afternoon shift.
Wei Ping still looked at Ethan Li from time to time. When she saw him cleaning the seat by the window with a rag, she suddenly called out, "Hey, wait, there are two seats left here. My boyfriend and Adrian Fang will be here soon."
After she finished speaking, Ethan Li did not refute, so Wei Ping immediately realized that Ethan Li didn't know yet.
Wei Ping slapped her head and said, "Oh, I made a mistake. Just keep one. Adrian Fang can't come. He's on a business trip."
Ethan Li paused while wiping the table.
