On the Xinyou day of the first month of the fourth year of Yongle, a team consisting of five carts and more than a hundred knights traveled from north to south, galloping on the official road.
The knights on horseback all wear vermilion double-breasted coats, carry long swords at their waists, and carry long bows and crossbows on their backs.
The leading knights held the reins with one hand and held the flag with one arm. The prince's flag and the five-element flag were flying fiercely in the wind.
At a glance, the momentum is astonishing.
Passing by the post station, the team did not stop. Only the three knights at the end of the team dismounted and ordered the postmen to fill the water bags and bring all the ready-made dry food. Then they threw out a money bag, got on their horses, whistled, and followed. The team in front galloped away.
