In Daning Zazao Bureau, craftsmen perform their duties. The handymen and helpers from each workshop ran at small steps, carrying handbags on their shoulders, carrying wood, stone and finished products.
Occasionally, handymen can be seen coming in and out of the carpentry and masonry workshops. Only the blacksmith shop, the handyman could not enter.
Only craftsmen and apprentices can enter and leave the workshop with their badges. When the handyman hears the call, he must wait outside the door. The craftsman will deliver the built farm tools and modified weapons to the door, and then the handyman will move them into the warehouse.
Workshops that repair and modify firearms are more strictly managed than blacksmith workshops. Except for experienced hands, even the apprentices of the craftsmen are restricted from entering and exiting.
The Daning Miscellaneous Manufacturing Bureau does not have a gunpowder manufacturing workshop, and all firearms powder is distributed by the Ordnance Bureau.
