The story of a rich man and a beggar sunbathing on the beach has been used by many people to make fun of it. Why go through so much trouble to sunbathe? Don't the results seem to be the same?
Aren’t we all just lying on the beach and basking in the sun?
At first glance they do look the same, but of course the truth is different.
This involves the question of freedom of choice in life.
Beggars can only sunbathe on free beaches, but rich people can choose to sunbathe all over the world. Maybe they can be surrounded by beautiful women. Or rich people can choose not to sunbathe, but to travel, shop, and enjoy delicious food. But beggars can only sunbathe. They have no choice.
