Jack stood by the pond in the yard and looked around.

This single-entrance courtyard is not very big and is located in an alley. Although the blue brick paved ground is solid, it is not suitable for driving. Therefore, the roar of cars passing by on the road and the irritating horn sound cannot be heard from the courtyard.

There are mostly independent courtyards like this one around here. I think most of them have become quiet vacation destinations or retirement places for wealthy people.

A breeze blew on his face, and a drooping willow branch floated onto Jack's shoulder. Jack grabbed it casually, plucked off a willow leaf, bent his index finger, wrapped the willow leaf around his index finger, and then put it in his mouth. It immediately made a clear sound like a bird's chirping.

After blowing for a while, Jack lowered his hands.
