"Why thank me? I should thank you for sending Mason back." At this point, Zhou Hui suddenly thought of a question, "Hey? I remember he went to a class reunion, why did you send him back?"
Looking at the steaming soup, Noah was silent for a moment.
"It happened by chance."
Zhou Hui yawned twice, and her eyes turned red because of sleepiness. Noah lowered his eyes, drank the soup in his bowl in two big gulps, picked up his down jacket, stood up and said goodbye. Zhou Hui sent him to the door, holding the door handle, and kept repeating to him not to catch a cold, and to get ready and go to bed while he was warm. Noah nodded and squeezed out a stiff "Thank you, Auntie".
The lights in his house were still off. After knocking on the front door, Noah stood at the door and stared at the messy living room for a long time before he went in, turned on the TV and connected to the game.
