Ryan and Ervin were flirting for a while, both lying on the sofa in disheveled clothes, talking. The sound of gongs and drums from the front desk came in a little bit, as if the neighbor next door had turned on a radio. Ryan could only hear that it was Peking opera, with the gongs and drums being played in a high voice, but he couldn't hear a word of what was being sung. Ervin had sharp ears, and he was talking happily, and he heard everything on the stage. Suddenly, he sat up with a start - the huqin was playing wrong again. If he happened to be singing on the stage, I don't know how angry he would be.

He had been listening to the show with his ears perked up. He was no longer in the mood to chat and laugh, so he put on his clothes and but.toned them. Ervin was faster than Ryan. He was dressed neatly and sat there with his legs crossed. He turned his hands over and over in boredom, making the orchid finger gesture of a lady in the play. He thought that the ring given by his admirer was very good, very bright, and very eye-catching. While Ryan was but.toning his clothes, he looked at him unhappily for being pretentious. Suddenly, he took two steps forward, grabbed his hand, and pulled the ring off.

Ervin jumped up: "What are you doing! Give it back to me!"

Ryan said: "What a good thing this is, it makes you beautiful! If you wear someone's ring, you should marry him, you know? Are you willing?"

Ervin was reluctant, but said: "Who says that if you wear someone's ring, you have to marry them! I wear a lot of rings!"
