Soon after getting married, Jinghong and her husband returned to her husband's home. For the first time, she saw her father-in-law beating her mother-in-law after drinking. Only then did she realize that some families are simply hell on earth.

After dinner that day, Jinghong was washing dishes in the kitchen when she suddenly heard her father-in-law's roar and her mother-in-law's loud moans from the living room. She came to the kitchen door and saw a scene that she would never forget: her mother-in-law was lying in the living room with blood on her forehead. Her father-in-law's eyes were red, and he cursed his wife with the dirtiest words. He swung a broom and beat his wife all over her face. Her mother-in-law held her head, rolled on the floor of the living room, screamed, and begged her not to beat him since she was at home.

Jing Hong ran to her husband Cheng Sen in panic and said, "Hurry up and stop Dad!"
