Miss He sat on the chair, not saying a word for a long time. She couldn't explain why. From childhood to adulthood, there were very few moments that were out of her control. But the cold and self-restrained man in front of her seemed to be completely out of her control. He smiled gently, but his eyes never stayed on her.
He inadvertently glanced up at the person opposite him, and subconsciously turned his head to the side, looking at the busy entrance of the department store, with expectation in his eyes.
She knew very well that such expectations would never fall on her.
"I'm leaving, Mr. Sun." Miss He stood up from her chair. "The scones in this cafe are delicious. You can try them."
Murphy also stood up.
