Lou Fan came back with food and Victor Murong placed it in front of her. Evelyn Lin struggled to get up: "Don't move. You have many wounds on your body. If you are not careful, you will tear the wounds and you will suffer."
Victorg brought the food and sat down beside her bed, feeding her mouthful by mouthful. Her stomach was burning with discomfort after being hungry all day, so she felt much better after drinking a bowl of hot porridge.
After dinner, under his strong gaze, Evelyn Lin drank the medicine reluctantly. She had slept for so long but couldn't fall asleep: "I'm not sleepy, you come up and sleep."
Seeing the dark circles under his eyes, Evelyn Lin felt distressed. His health had been poor to begin with, and today he had traveled a long way to Jinghui Temple. It was already this late, and he should have rested long ago.
The two of them lay together in their clothes, their thoughts flying far away. Victorg was thinking about proposing marriage, while Lin Weiler was thinking about the situation in the imperial capital.
