Although she grew up in the countryside, she knew that this amount of money was nothing to those wealthy families.
The woman took it with a smile and attentively poured them two glasses of water.
"Sister-in-law, why is it so hot these days? Has it not rained for a long time?" Lin Weiler asked her.
"Yes, we farmers rely on God for our livelihood. There is little rain this year. It only rained once this month. Some experienced elders in the village said that there may be a severe drought this year. Alas, we don't know what will happen."
