On June 24, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology took action and issued five consecutive documents to enter the market in a strong manner.
1. Instruct Century Zongheng and Tengxun to make a public apology to the public within 5 working days, properly handle the aftermath, ensure the compatibility and normal use of the software, and solve problems encountered in the process in strict accordance with the law.
2. In conjunction with relevant departments, further observe and handle the two companies’ suspected violations of relevant laws and regulations, and order the two companies to cooperate accordingly.
3. Order the two companies to learn lessons from this incident, carefully study relevant laws and regulations, strengthen professional ethics, strictly regulate their own behavior, and prevent similar behavior from happening again.
4. Relevant Internet companies should take this as a warning, abide by industry norms, maintain market order, respect customer rights and interests, and work together to promote the healthy, stable and sustainable development of the Internet industry.
