Adrian Lee's father is Lin Wang, who is the combat instructor of the police district in their small city.

Since he was a child, Adrian Lee didn't know much about what specific police work his father was responsible for. He only knew that he would occasionally cooperate with the Investigation Department to hunt down criminals. He did the most dangerous work and often worked overtime. It was common for him to not be able to come home during the Chinese New Year.

Every day after Lin Wang came back, he would practice martial arts by hitting sandbags at home, and would also call him and Lin to the small courtyard to teach them police fighting techniques.
