Adrian Lee had a dream that day.
In his dream, he saw a huge butterfly flying across the mirror world, and after landing, it turned into a graceful figure. It was the wizard he chose, with double-bladed feet and scimitar wings, with elf eyes and flowing long hair, and it was difficult to tell whether he was a man or a woman. The world in the mirror was bizarre and every step he took would cause thousands of mirror images to move together.
This maze made of mirrors became the plastic ruler of the maze he played with as a child. The human figures were like tiny floating particles, colorful with a pungent smell, floating softly in the sweet liquid.
He pushed open the mirror room and saw two houses on the ground, with two children who looked exactly the same sitting on both sides of the houses.
He recognized them, but his throat was choked - he couldn't tell them apart. The two little Nathan Carter lowered their heads to play with the building blocks, then looked up at him. That moment almost made his heart stop.
